At South Otago Kindergartens you will find 4 quality educational centres that cater for different family lifestyles or that of your caregivers. There are a variety of session times available and because we cater for a diverse rural area, the teachers are more than happy to support you in organising car pooling with other families from your area where possible.

Each centre is unique but what we can say is that they all provide a welcoming, safe, caring environment with a family friendly atmosphere, where your child can continue to grow and learn with the support and guidance of our trained teachers.

Your child will experience an environment where

  • They are supported to make friends with other children and adults. 
  • They get to experience a learning programme that uses his or her interests and or passions to open up learning concepts such as problem solving, independence and the maths and literacy skills to take them confidently into school. 
  • Most of all that they feel they belong and it is their place where they learn through play while having lots of fun!
To help you make a decision feel free to bring your child and call in and visit the kindergartens and take into consideration how the kindergarten makes you feel when you visit  and talk to them about your requirements.
